Here's some more drawings of my African wild dog fellow. A while back I'd picked up a big book on African wildlife in the bargain section at Barnes and Noble and I love flipping through it and looking at all the critters. There was only one photo of these guys in there but it was enough to inspire me. I decided to slim him up a bit more, I really like the lankiness of wild dogs. Their splotchy markings and big ears are fun to play with design-wise.

Hey everybody, just a little shameless promotion but the show I've been working on for over a year premieres Friday, August 31st at 8pm on Nickelodeon. Check your listings. I did this for the recent SCBWI contest mostly to try to rekindle my illustration skills which I've been missing and it was a fun way to unwind after a long day at work.
Here's an incidental character I did for Catscratch. Blink and you'll miss her-she only appears on screen for about two seconds before being smashed by a giant oceanliner....being an incidental can be hazardous....
